The new Randys dig updates include many of the signature, trade mark beautiful see through flint.
BUT among the ho- hum beautiful NON transparencies
that Bill G found, could that be a HELL GAP ??
5th row of pics down, left side. If so that time line could overlap with Clovis and Folsom. Big and transparent is good but senior citisens rule.
Is this an out of context find at Randys or the edge of a Paleo zone ?
More on "age"...The new "find of the week" on the front page is a Clovis that took Wayne 30 years to find, a very comendable Texas history example.
I have always assumed that the Paleo layer or area was somehwere on the 13 acres. In the immediate area where the "Hell Gap" type point was found we have found several Angoustra's. And several years ago my neighbor found a 6" Zella blade that he sold for $1900 at a Boerne show 3 yrs ago. Paleo points have not been the numerous at this site but they are out here somewhere. We will keep diggin".......
