How was the artifact show last weekend, were there some great items for some cheap prices available? Any out of the ordinary artifacts presented there?

Hi Silver, In answer to your querry, I dont know if I can zoom in on any particular items that fit "great items for cheap prices" Perfect items are going up more than inflation rates due to demand. Some bird points are hundreds of dollars so thats not much value by weight OR size.
Closer to your specific question, I enjoyed the scope and originallity of the TEXAS HILL COUNTRY ARTIFACTS display by Todd Chism.
I had never before seen broken pieces sold by the FIVE GALLON BUCKETS!! Quite a sight, especially for those of us that still value EVERY single artifact.
BOXES of great points at great low prices, probably from G5 to G9
THEN, if thats not good enough.......ALL of the flint is completely UNWASHED just as it came out of the ground. That means the whole table looked the same dull gray tone...
How can you tell what bargain treasure you might find after cleaing it...Translucent? Petrified? alibates? banded? ugly?
I think if I was in Todd's place I could not resist the need to fire hose to whole Bunch. Even dirt covered the buyer has a clue to what lurks below..His sites are all in the same part of the world as . . .
