Hot times (and points) at FRL.

It was hot; and great. Two days of digging and man who could have asked for better motivation than to keep finding them. The following pics are from 4 different peoples finds (including myself). Im the only one that found a 6 foot montell though (two pieces 6 feet apart)!Enjoy!

Re: Hot times (and points) at FRL.

Cograts Brad & friends. Not only good but it seems enough quantity to continuously keeps spirits high
when mind and body is sagging.

Nice ecentric/practice piece. What are the local
experts at FRL calling the item in the third frame up from bottom ? Has a nice paleo shape but not so much
the flaking.

That 6 foot Montell is an interesting memory. It sorta sounds like a "the rich get richer" story.
There you are with all the neat complete finds and
you come up with a "field repair' for a broke !

Re: Hot times (and points) at FRL.

Is that a Frio under the broken Montell or is it an Edwards?

Re: Hot times (and points) at FRL.

Striped frio. I was even kinda thinking ensor variant because of the small serrations, and of the many broken ensor bases I have found in that area of the dig. Beatiful point and definately the best find for me on Saturday.

Re: Hot times (and points) at FRL.

That's a new definition to me!
What's a striped Frio?

Re: Hot times (and points) at FRL.

Striped as in striped flint.

Re: Hot times (and points) at FRL.

3rd frame from the bottom I'd call a dwarf Kinney Hal.

Re: Hot times (and points) at FRL.

Agreed Brad, Lousy Plainview, great Kinny !
