Googling; ARROWHEAD DIGS SOUTH CAROLINA did have some
interesting links that might lead to some finds.
One guy found so many pottery shards he resurfaced the front of a full size fireplace

Was surprised to find that you cant just jump in any inland waters looking for fossils or artifacts without
a state issued "permit"
