I couldn't have been there. I had planned on going to Shreveport with my wife, but found out I was on call for work. Oh well, next time Leonard has this kind of shindig maybe I can go.
I realise what you really meant was where was the traditional end of day flint finds. I didn't have the heart to tell you at the time that there was none.
I left early and so not everything was found yet.
[ thats still being evasive !] I didn't find any flint
that would add luster to the group, only a few near
heat effected bones.
At that get together many test holes were still in progress all over the place looking for the best
zones. It was just my poor luck to be assigned a top
soil removal project. It was a dirty job that somebody had to do but now in looking back, I suspect
they just wanted to keep me out of David's way.
He did really good even up to my early exit.
