I found this when I was about 16 at Long's in Llano. Any ideas what type of knife this is? The back side looks about the same.

TRAVIS.... THAT LOOKS AN AWFUL LOT LIKE A CORNER TANG WITH VERY LITTLE TANG TO IT. REALLY IT MIGHT BE A CORNER TANG WANNA BE. IF I HAD FOUND I WOULD CALL IT A CORNER TANG.

KIND OF LIKE MY 8 POINT I SHOOT EVERY YEAR ENDS UP BEING A 150 CLASS MONSTER.

If that rounded base was once squared like the other
it might be kinda Friday like. On the tother hand,it's a little smallish so maybe a non descript
lanceolet type. . .

David's wrong. It always starts out as a monster and by the time I see it, it has shrunk up to average size for these parts. Then as time goes by, it starts to grow in relation to the number of times the story is told.

I call those squaw blades or possibly a preforms. What was it found with? Most likely it is not a corner-tang and is some sort of scraper/ knife.
