That particular face that only a mother could love has been a part of our life for almost four years and is an old digging buddy. He usually doesn't get too close. He's probably seen almost every type point ever found but I was able to get the close up on the front page because he had never seen such a large and unboken drill.



Now here's the rest of the story.. . . . .
Michelle has always been attached to her ass. so about 6 weeks ago, during the week, he walked by me very close and left a big pile of processed grass. Thinking Michelle would be pleased with a calling card from an old friend, I scooped up the choicest morcels into a ziplock bag [ full ]

The next weekend she & I went off to another dig site.
Right after she got her basic "things" out of her backpack, I put the bag of flowers into the bag.
Well she was in and out of that bag all day for this N that but never found the gift.

End of dig, packed her bag and stowed it in the garage. [ I said nothing !]

One week later it's time for another dig trip.
Out comes the backpack and DUMPED on the kitchen table!

And there in all it's glory was the bag of fresh 12 day old manure! Bleary eyed but fully awake smell buds at 0530 in the morning, She graciously thanked me for thinking of Her ass !
