South Texas Surface Finds

I could use some help identifying the points on the top row. I believe that a couple are Paleo. On the bottom row the three on the left were found about two feet apaSouth Texas Surface Findsrt from each other.(5-6 miles south of Laredo)

Re: South Texas Surface Finds

Hi Mike, nice finds
Something to give scale reference is probably needed
before making a guesstimate.
If they are all bird point size the're still old but not Paleo

Hi Hal and Mike,
I hope this gives you a little better perspective. Thanks for your input.South Texas Surface Finds

Re: South Texas Surface Finds

Thanks for the added scale material, as it fits well what I had suspected for size.

Re: South Texas Surface Finds

Good, if your happy with size Mike#1, those are good ID's Maybe the desert environs encouraged
smaller more economical varieties from their
hill country counterparts.

Also interesting how none of that desert flint does not get surface bleached white
like Edwards material
