Good show Big, amazing how delicate some of the Birds could be .
A jewelry nut might wonder what the smallest delicate [ Edwards ? ] might look like in one of those "ready made" things they make, mainly for a Swiss adelweiss
What county are your finds from ?
L, Why not get out of the Mano's camp and open up those Montell and Nolan camps by the creek
hey SH sorry bout the late reply , I'm in Kerr co. near Mt. Home TX My nearest possible creek is dry and is only a dry wash now(never seen water in it)Ihave afew draws nearby and the closest running water is about 2miles away. WHERE ARE MY BIG ONES!THanks again SH.
Yo Big W, Your definitly in a great county for good artifacts. Anyone following the various finds reports can easily see the superior difference from that part of the world VS even central TX. They are larger, better made and frequently more unique.
NOW all you need is more acerage to work with !
Near water was always a camp need, even what appears to be a dry wash now may have been spring fed
a few thousand years ago or not
Where smaller drainages meet the next larger one is frequently a good prospect, if not for a camp
then a good place for a mid-day rest and weapons repair stop.
Maybe expand your surfacing by asking neighbors for "just looking" permit. .
