darn shame on the quality insitu shots you took of that castroville. still an awesome find, and thanks for the quality pics! man, what a heartbreaker, and even worst, the entire point exposed, still insitu, except the ear that should of been there. ouch.

Tks for the kind words Monty, the way I dig, most of my insitu's just tumble out and lay there
I really got lucky cause as you see from the opening pic, who knew what's to come ?
I had high hopes right up to the last.
The rock over the missing barb turned out to be fairly large and really
jammed in place.

Where the barb should / might have been, I went through the dirt grain
by grain. . . .Alas. .
