Columbus Day

The last couple of years I've made it a point to take the kids and dig on Columbus Day since they're out of school anyway. This year we found a few. The five on the top right were dug by my nine year old. The flake drill is really cool. My 12 yr old found the three on the top left. He was really proud of the whole point, Bulverde?

The rest I dug, for scale reference the Nolan in the middle of the frame is 3", the broke Bulverde, middle right, would have been over 5", easy. The Ensors all came out deep in the midden, below Perds?

Re: Columbus Day

A great day digging for sure. I love the color on the big broke bulverde. It looks like moldy cheese!

What a great picture of a "happy camper" SmileyCentral.com

We can see the hard work dirt on the face, must be plenty on the rest of the bod

Good finds all. I might voice what the first reaction was for most of us viewers. . . .
