What's the scoop on Chrisner's these days?

My family is chomping at the bit to go somewhere and dig in the next few days. I thought about heading over to Chrisners and try our luck there. I saw that a lot of y'all were disappointed back during the digfest so I'm looking for a few pointers. Where on the ranch should we set up shop to dig? Also, what area(s) are best for doing a little surface hunting? Any info would be great. Thanks.

Re: What's the scoop on Chrisner's these days?

The "rock pile" always seem to produce something. Cant move a lot of material due to the rocks but
thats part of what keeps it producing. . . The
experts cant be bothered
One end of the digfest trench is still producing and just looking at the layers of material showing is intriguing. . . . . . BUT
The nature of the soils is probably the WORST to get through

Its all "Indian country" so surface hunting finds can happen anywhere. A bit after heavy rains SmileyCentral.com are obviously the best times but that has been in short supply in that area.

Even without WX, anywhere in and around old digs are potential producers.
