milam county arrowheads

Success finally. Thanks to the girlfriend.
Here is the arrowhead mentioned in my previous attempts to post. Hope someone can help with what type of arrowhead this is. Probally pretty easy for the experienced eyes. It was found on top of ground while hog hunting.

Nice point Fairland or Ensor mabey

Re: milam county arrowheads

couple of other points that i have that i have found over the years. Hopefully I can get out sometime and add to my count and learn a little more.

Re: milam county arrowheads

I lean towards Ensor. Didja get a hog that day? If so what weight range ? Our man in SW TX reports 400 pounders !

Carefull on future "hog" hunts ~ ~ ~ ~flint can be addictive.

Re: milam county arrowheads

Most in the 100 to 200 lb range. It is already addicting. Just have to find time to get out and look. There is not ally of flint in area so I think the hunting will b tough. I found a website last night (beyond Texas history) that was pretty cool. Lot of info on milam county.

Re: milam county arrowheads

Top one could be a Castroville or similar type base tang. The bottom left one maybe a Morhiss & tha bottom right, maybe a Catan or Matamoros typr.
