eriklhd, As usual, Douglas doesn't mince words [ pun intended ], his analysis and advice is always, short, sweet and acurate.
Of those 11 surface finds on that property, only 5 show evidence of laying out in the bleaching sun. The
others may not have seen the light of day since last week [ or last uncovering rain ! ]
So that indicates there could be one area [ camp site ? ] that is still leaching out "new" material.
Somewhere back in the last few years of this forum department there are very definite descriptions of
what to look for as far as finding a mound / camp !
Then do the Douglas dig !
Hard to tell from the pic, but that favorite colored Perd looks like it should have used more sunscreen .
that perd had the base sticking straight up in the air when I found it. A cow stepped on it when the ground was soft. It was on the very edge of the cow print.
