grayson county arrowheads

I recently moved to grayson county in North Texas...anyone have any advice on where to hunt for points around here...I also have a site in Coryell County if anyone is interested in swapping digs

Re: grayson county arrowheads

A large body of water the shoreline. Texoma? Just dont be obvious Also the south shoreline of a river named Red Just a few thoughts I am not suggesting digging Just bring your dogs leash and walk around dog optional

Jeff: I don't know where you are in Grayson Co, but after a good rain there can be some decent surface hunting on the North Sulphur river. It starts in Fannin Co. I have some favorite spots that are all within an hours drive of Sherman. Here's a website that has several in situ shots of surface finds that I'm 99% sure were in the NSR.

Re: grayson county arrowheads

I hear there are lots of points around the north side of the lake and in the peanut fields that are just north of the lake and the red below the dam.
