These were given to me today from a friend who said they were found some years ago in in a field near Stephenville. Any guesses on type? Pics are side 1 and side 2

Re: ID Help

i would think a worked down ensor

Re: ID Help

Both worked Ensors? One on the right maybe Darl?

Re: ID Help

Left-Ensor, right-Lange, possibly Williams.

Re: ID Help

thanks, I was thinking Ensor on the big one and just not real sure on the second.

Re: ID Help

Ensor and Delhi.

Re: ID Help

Very nice Med LG Ensor [ every body agrees ]

Also very nice med size ---------

I tend towards Williams. Sorry Red, just an opinion.

Re: ID Help

Lange and Williams are both good possibilities and both are much more common in Texas than the Delhi. Someone on another site made a good observation that its a good Middle to late Archaic stemmed point.
An old hard rock Archeologist once told me that there were only thirty point types in the whole world and three thousands variations of same.
