Went to the deer lease yesterday, all the springs were still running as usual, keeping the creeks flowing. Luckily we have gotten a little rain, so far I've had to cut the grass twice , but I've heard that we're 4-5" below normal on rainfall. Went thru Ike last fall, still trees down and blue tarps everywhere, don't need anymore like that.Hope the rest of the state gets it's share of rain this year.Hey Hal, I'm getting on a deer lease near Vance Texas , wonder how the point hunting might be!
That is a great looking point, Glad Mike put a name on it !
Rob, if thats the Vance just North of Camp wood, Your in the Platinum circle [ one notch up from gold ]
Just plot the existing pay digs with their reported great finds on your lease map !
Be very nice to your property owner, the best treasures have to be dug !
At least in part, to mention the weather that started off this posting. . .
There are some people reading this that wont be going to school this morning due to deep snow !
