Hey Geofactfan!

Any idea what these are? Was told they were petrified bones. Photobucket

Re: Hey Geofactfan!

You find those around fredricksburg area???..Ive found some amazing shaped flint nodes on a ranch outside freddy....Those are flint and looks like an indian has beat you to them already.....Top one looks like it was use to chop somthing......I have one with that exact shape that was used as a chopper ....Ill snag a pic of it in a few days

Re: Hey Geofactfan!

wherever you found those ...Sure to be some injuns not far from there......If there is a water source close by , youve got the makings of a possible camp site.....Mix one quarter cup of flint and two cups of water and you get a surfire place to hunt for arrows

Re: Hey Geofactfan!

Found in west texas near Big Lake on the Rocker B, carried out backpacks full of choppers/hand axes and only 3 whole points, couldn't dig so all were surface finds, found in what's called Centralia Draw,a dried up river valley that eventually gets wet and becomes the Concho River....
