Re: Beveled Perd

I'm assuming those most be the earliest versions of Pedernales, is that correct?

Re: Beveled Perd

I have Pedernales points that have edges that are convex and concave but I have never seen beveled edges in this point type before. Interesting piece.

Re: Beveled Perd

This was found in Fayette Co. I have several Perds but
this one is very nice. Beveled, flea bite serations,
patina and translucent. This one has it all. Thought ya'll might enjoy seeing it.

Re: Beveled Perd

K, according to the report from the big dig on Cibolo Creek, beveled Pedernales points were found there. You can Google Cibolo Creek Site to read the report.

Re: Beveled Perd

So is there any indication if the beveled Perds are any older. Anything special about them other than them being really cool?

Re: Beveled Perd

Read the report. Very interesting. Tells me that not many are found. Glad to have found one. I prize it even more now. I knew it was different.
