could be an inbred marshall/marcos?

Well, I thought the " no doubt " sealed the deal but now if "doubt " is creeping in. . . .

I'll guestimate closer to a Castroville [ dont care for the Marcos at all ]

SH, you say you dont care for the Marcos.But the Castroville and Marcos come from the same time frame,Late Archaic.Why do you think its not a Marcos?

Forced to hit the book ! Change again. "definetly" [ no doubt, its a Marshall ] Just not enough design factors line up { for Me ! } to be a Marcos.

Re time frame, I had not even considered who goes with what ! ! !
What the ancients did with older points they found, plus the great blender, Mother nature makes it perfectly possible to find a bird point within inches of an early archaic.
All of which on top of a 1970's style zip top soda can !
