THE MESSAGE BOARD POINT CHATTER IS NOW CLOSED TO ALL NEW POSTS.
Found these today in that plowed field just south of Oklahoma after almost an inch of rain. Does anyone know what the white point is? It's pretty thick but nicely flaked. The only thing we could think of is a thick, un-notched knife.
Good job Trav, did you do the rain dance.? I would just call the Whitey a Lanceolate. Saying Unnotched seems to denote a preform but thats good looking just the way it is. From watching the recent WX reports, there's no drought in your area, keep looking down [ at your muddy feet ]
Ha, thanks Hal. It's been a wet but productive Easter. No rain dance though.
Well Trav, here's your old report that came from ONE INCH of rain. The mind boggles what the Northern swamps will produce after this wkend's monsoons !
Forgot to ask in that last post. . . What do earthquakes do for surfacers ?
that's a great question. i would have no idea. although, i bet i could make a fortune selling "I survived the Arlington, TX. earthquake of 5-15-09"
