Hi all, Heres my finds from yesterday, the 24th, from about 3 1/2 hours of methodical walking and scanning gravel bars here in Wilson county, KS. The big piece to the right of the harahey is a hafted scraper, it was nice, but had a ear missing & some of the bottom missing. The peice between the 2 scrapers in the top row is interesting & weird. It feels ground all the way around it & is of a unknown flint-like material to me. Will ask some of my local artifact nuts about their takes on what the material is. Anyway, it was great to finally hit the creek again & find things...John
Good show. April 24th, Is that the first day the snow melted this year ?
On that ground one in question, Might that be the water tumbled effect ?
Things are always different in a foreign country, you shor thats what they call a Harahey in your part of the world ?
