OFF TOPIC~ Neighbor's child died tonight ... Power Lines .. VERY Unsafe

Hello yall


Came home tonight with KXAN NEWS here... Apparently my neighbors daughter was climbing the fence and for some reason was holding the hose with the metal nozzle in her hand and touched the power line with the metal nozzle and it electrocuted the 10 yr. old kid..


Everyone has these lines on the sides of their homes.. PLEASE do what you can to keep your children safe .. because these power lines to the house are HOT 24/7 .. I guess it just takes one to "touch" the lines...


What a way to learn a lesson. I feel really so bad for the family.. The news crews just left and the candles will be burning all night. .. be safe everyone.

The neighbors got together today and got the word out.. Some went door to door and took donations for the family. The family and child is from mexico and the father is actually there. They have like NO money and even with us really not knowing the adults very well because they don't speak english.. .. We all know all the kids and see them and watch them play every day in all our yards.


Just all came together and got alot of donations and are having a get together in her name for the family thei NEXT saturday at Rosemarry Denny Park here in Cedar park and having PEC Electric out here to teach the kids about safty with electric and free CPR class for kids and parents... If anyone lives around here and wants to show up with their kids, maybe make a donation and have some food and learn about some safty around the house or wants to come out for the CPR class.. You are welcomed to.
