check your chips

While at T.J.'s, I kept pretty much anything that appeared to have been worked, even flint chips. Most of it was nothing, but every now and then I found something that was more than a chip. I found this little perd a couple of weeks after the trip while going through my bucket. Just goes to show what gets looked over. It's not complete, but what if it had been......

Re: check your chips

Good advise Chris. Always a chance that at the end of a dig day, two flint chips might fit together.
The brokes are great to make a mosaic design displays

If visiting a new dig site, always check around the base of trees for really neat broken worked pieces.
Really hot shot diggers only keep finds that are worth some money so They just pitch the brokes asside.

Re: check your chips

I have done that before. It's easy to overlook fragments. Good looking out.
