I was coming over from Tucson next week to dig and see that there is some bad weather around the Austin area. Will that close down the sifters digs? Mud?. Wanted to dig four or five of the sites in the area. Is May a bad time? Thanks for any info. AL

Al, May is an Ok month for Tx digs. Even though your used to Az heat, from June on, combining with
digging exercise can tear up a body from death valley.

Recent WX patterns have been vastly different from N to S with even 100 miles making the difference btwn
drowning to parched.

One of the farthest out forecasts is on WEATHER.COM Dial in the closest town to your daily schedule, like
WACO, SAN ANTONIO, CAMP WOOD etc. Hit the 10 day guestimator button !

I had a few words with Al last night. As part of his visit, He got to see a real Texas rain.
Didn't interfer with his digging but on the way to San Ant a cloud burst just about stopped all traffic for a while.
