Does anyone know what this is?

Hello, I'm new here. I finally found my first arrowhead last week, along with lot of flint and rocks! I'm curious if anyone know what this particular rock/tool might be? I picked it up because it looked like a shell only to discover it has a pitted surface on one side. One of my research books has a illustration of a tool used for straightening arrows. Any suggestions?? Thank you!

Re: Does anyone know what this is?

One way to see them is to paste the code on a new window & press 'enter'.
The item to me look's like a geofact.
