We've gone to TJ's Vanderpool dig four times now, and three of those trips it's rained. Great for the weeds, not worth a crap to screen in. Didn't do great, still found a few. Flicker found a 5" covington, and I ended up with a perd, surface hunting, and a knife. Chalk up another broke drill. Makes 5 with tips missing.
Don't seem to work surface hunting. Done tried it and still have a drought. Last tally, 12" of rain last year, 6" this year. They're selling waterlessmelons at the store, think they call them dehydrated, just add water and you get a rind and a cup full of seeds.
Well it's a good thing Flicker is on the job!
With all that swamp diggin experience you are probably way ahead of diggers that
live in drought devastated Texas. . . The WX geniouses are seeing the El Nino change that will bring massive rains this winter & spring.
Maybe Melvin can come up with a "device" that can convert rainwater to a Hydraulicing
system !
Hydro-drilling? Might work better then wigglepicks. Don't break points with water. Now if we could just get some. Gonna try some surface hunting down south. Might get a drizzle out of it.
