Punching holes in rawhide in preperation to stitching is the use that first comes to most peoples mind.
But it was probably a common utility tool in the kitchen for processing some nuts and fruits.
In the nursery to clean juniors fingernails etc.
Looks like a nice one. We find them frequently in our cave site, and they can get up to a foot in length. Look for polishing from the tip back. SH has give a good description of their usages.
