I have seen and own a few pieces of pet. wood points and I was wondering if any of our knappers have tried using it in their trials...I know Flo-town is one of the better ones that I have seen on this site...I have a bunch of it I would donate to the experiment...

yea Flo-town is a good napper but you don't see many nappers messing withe real hard stuff,Ive seen very few with the black flint i think i saw a black flint Clovis on Flo's site and it was impressive

The only wood I ever knapped was fractured and did not turn out very good but I think if you had some slick stuff with no fractures it would knapp like any other flint email me Im takeing donations
