Let's talk pay digs...

I live in east, Texas and as y'all can assume, most pay digs are way out yonder. The closest place would be Chrisners but I was wondering if their were any places closer to home? Something within an hour or so drive along I-45 would be sweet. I know the better stuff is out in the hill country but that really doesn't matter to me. Let me know if y'all know of a place. Thanks!!

Re: Let's talk pay digs...

Blame it on the geology East of I-35.
Fewer to no limestone outcrops for fire rocks. Limited amounts of good flint and mostly the sandy
soils that dont reveal many hints of camps.

A lucky young fella posted here last year of his digging a camp he had identified in ETX. The picture of him digging looked like when you dig a sand hole at the beach.
