any ideas found out in driftwood with some guages? and other tools
found this one on the surface friday
side view. The bottom is worked almost perfectly flat
found this one at the little dig in junction with Drew a week or two ago.
side view, so thin
any ideas about the first one.I think the two blades are covingtons does that look right?
I'd go with covington also Buda Mike. The top one is probably a rough blank or tool.Is the small dig in junction at Beverly's? Nice piece for there.I've been twice ,found one whole point and butted hand knife or scaper . Lotta work little love.
Yeah, it was at Beverly's in Junction ,I was the only one that found anything out of 4 of us. The place out there needs a little maintaining, hard to tell whats already been dug. Needs some TLC and a backhoe.
Good show Buda, Covington looks like it fits. That one you mention with a "worked" flat bottom, might that not be just worked from a flat flake ?
Asside from carefull manicuring at Beverly's, It sounds like the sites a good candidate for a
proper screen dig operation. What is under all the mess is bound to be pure gold ! [ Just screen everything, even old throw dirt ! ]
