the montell was the find of the day, but the triangular point is nice too, its super thin
this was a strange piece, the top has a groove in it with a couple of wear lines and the bottom is so flat and smoothed that its almost glossy, my guess is shaftstraightener, cause it was found up high in bird layer
this was wierd too, its a little flake with a bird point base size on it, but it was found 1.5 feet below any birds, my guess is practice base
Good going. . . they dont look very muddy, hows the diggin soil on your acerage ?
The Montell must have been a nice "discovery moment"
Nice triangle as almost all are. . . .In a few minutes I'll be posting our Monday outing. I
got a " triangle " thats beautifully worked all around but its much more "lobsided " than the norm.
I suspect it may have been a snapped point, reshaped.
I only have a long range pic, its not worth a close up !
