DigFest Supplies Advice

So, first off, we are super excited. This is our first artifact dig and we are excited at the possibility of finding anything (we are easy to please so we dont have high hopes).

Anyways, when I creek crawl for fossils I typically have my mud gear, kneepads if im going to be working the floor, my rock hammer, some screwdriver/scraper type items, gloves (and backups when i wear through the ones im wearing!), backpack with all the extras and food/water.

What would you guys recommend tool wise. Is there something that your team cant live without?

Do i need to bring a sieve or shovel? I just want to make sure i dont show up missing some fundamental gear.

CANT WAIT TO GET MUDDY! Nothing beats a hard week at work infront of a computer by moving a couple metric tons of dirt and getting nice and sloppy!

WOOT!

Re: DigFest Supplies Advice

I think its more an exscuse to go to the hardware store and buy knew toys than anything.
