I GOT SICK AND DAKOTAS ASTMA ACTED UP WE DIDNT EVEN DIG THATS ONE AWESOME DRILL YOU FOUND THANKS FOR SHARING .. HOW DEEP WERE YOU ?
Well, when you didnt show up by 10 AM I took over that messed up hole you had started. I ment to take a proper standing up pic to show depth, but I never
got around to it. It was 5 feet in that drill area.
Proper pics probably by tomorrow.
That is one sweet find Hal.Congratulations on that, and for solving the picture/memory problem.Your pictures are always awesome!Hope we get to see that beauty after its bath.
Te, not to be too argumentive over such a very small item, , , but an expert on that area says its a
split base Ensor that was found by one of Mrs Darl's young boys. The beveling in the bit area is SEVER Darl beveling.
AzAl, It's tempting to let everyone continue to think I'm a superman but the truth of the matter is
that Richard Chrisner did four test holes the day before with one of those monster yellow machines. In the top pic, see the big pile of fresh dirt. Richard said it was a good area and did not want to go too deep into a fragile layer.
Maybe I'll just settle for being boy wonder since creating a wall and going deeper in one day is pretty substantial.
RH, clean pic next time I use the camera. Nothing special just a dull grey with a nice pure white
cloud in the middle.
Good & correct observation on fixing the PC pixing.
Full credit to Badger.
I would have had to throw the PC away and buy a new one.
Now that machine would put Melvin's Monster Mammoth wiggle pick to shame. A split based ensor? Ah, these variants will be the death of many an ametuer digger yet.
Super find for sure!! 2questions though. Is that patina and how long?
No noticable weathering patina, 2 3/8 ths long.
Te, here's two of the Frios I was refering to thats not in the money book. Need to add that
mouse eared one too.
On the left, Nacho's, Real Co. RT = Travis Co.
