Scoggin's Scotty

Been searching for info on the Scoggin's scotty.
Anybody heard of it?
I would sure like to see it again, can't seem to locate it.

Re: Scoggin's Scotty

What is a Scoggin's Scotty ...

Re: Scoggin's Scotty

A gentleman, Last Name "Scoggins", found an extroidinary Scotsbluff in Arkansas
and I missed out on the chance to view
and compare it to other known "Special"
scottsbluff points.
Just eager to do some comparisons.

Re: Scoggin's Scotty

The John Scoggins Scottsbluff can be viewed at arrowheads.com/ acs / museum. Scoggins Scotty; I once knew a Gordon Setter by that name.

Re: Scoggin's Scotty

This is John Scoggins.I found the point. The point referred to on ACS is a nice one I found years ago but not the good one you're referring to.I have nice pics of my good one if you're interested.

Re: Scoggin's Scotty

I'M sure everyone here would love to see it if you would post the point.

Re: Scoggin's Scotty

I'm making these posts using a "smart" phone and haven't figured out how to add pics to my posts.I'll post pics when I can use somebody's computer.A little info about the point. It is 5.25" and made of what is most likely an extremely high grade piece of Edwards. There's a possibility its Knife River but after comparing it to samples of Knife River I doubt it.I found it in a creek in Miller Co.,AR.It probably had just washed in because it had very little creek stain. Most pieces found in this creek come out solid green or black due to heavy stain. If you would like directions to where you can view pics of it before I can get some posted, send me an Email.
