Rare is the word, and a neat flint pattern to boot, very nice. Too bad that deep hole is going to fill up with rain this week !
Cant find that other posters' Jetta in the overstreet's, might not be from Texas, perhaps even late archaic European.

The camp we are in is not very deep Hal.The Early stemmed point that i found was only 6" to 8" deep.Thats pretty shallow for early archaic if you ask me.

No, the deep hole caved in on Thanksgiving day.Thank goodness no one was in it but its full of dirt and rocks. The jetta was found at another spot, shallower mound. Do you think that 2 pic is an angustora or something else?
