All year long the fathfull Christners dog, Spyder works hard with the visiting diggers to get rid of any littler they dont want, like McDonalds has browns or Vienna
sausages. We figured he need a proper meal. Even without gravy & cranberries it went down. . Not much pre dishwasher rinse need. . . This is what the little test hole
from 3 weeks ago looked like when we arrived today. . . Here's Idaho just starting to enlarge the area where he had just found the edge of a fire pit. . . Richard saw that
Idaho needed some mechanical help and also that the overhangs were really dangerous, , , What a good deal. . . Fortunatly for Richard, there was no lack of highly
qualified supervisors on hand. . . With that huge bucket, Richard tickled the overburden off to within four inches of the sacred fire rock. . . Here's Idaho & Lee wasting
valuable digging time admiring the Angostura [ note clean white shirt ] Just like the pic at Promontory Utah when they drove the gold spike to complete the trans con
railroad. . Lee completes a test trench to shake hands with Idaho and proceed to get into that side of the fire pit. . Idaho turned his area over to our new friend Jessy.
Here he is displaying two monos he found side by side. Note the detail of the one in his left hand, very unique, made out of a block of siliconised fossiliferous clam shell
hash. In this overview of the new landscaping work, there is three fire pits I have personally dug. Gary and Jessy are very long time Chrisner's regualrs and dig the old
dig work on our north size. They reported finding two other fire "just over there". Both point producers. So thats FIVE known fire pits [ each about 6 feet in
circumference ] witing a 5* foot length...... Here's Idaho's finds up until 1PM when he quit. I tossed a couple of my meager finds on the maybe make them look better in
the glow of his radiant finds. . Thats a FAIRLAND perforator. AND A PLAINVIEW. . [ might be the find of the day if confirmed at the next flint show ] Badgers'
personal find of the day, a very nice split base Ensor. A wonderfull memory maker, it looked like a Ctang when it still had dirt on it. Unfortunatly I never managed to get
one single pic of every piece found on this visit. Lee got a very nice Uvalde [ Perd ? ] made of a yellow flint. Jessy found a very nively made circular scraper and a teenie
weenie Scallorn. . . . without his glasses !
