Dalton Point

The new Overstreet book is saying a Dalton point is early archaic.I have many older books saying its paleo? Im very confused and was thinking someone with some background in Native American Projectile could help out.Maybe Dr.Hester?

Re: Dalton Point

The Overstreet books commonly contain many errors,
so, you can't believe everything you read. From all
I can tell, I think that Dalton is one of those types
that deserves to be listed as transitional paleo
to early archaic. Nothing against Hester, but Davis
might have more information.

Re: Dalton Point

Why are you asking about Daltons Drew ?? Is that what you found after youse guys took over the
south acreage ?

Re: Dalton Point

HaAH!!! Hal, i wish.I acually found more than one on the surface now.And was wondering if i should dig deeper for Paleo??
