Great report hal. Nice pottery shard too. Havent seen too much of thats sort around these parts.

Here's my 2 hrs dig, 1 hr metal detect.
I gotta remember to check my pockets before these end of day pics, mid section piece and short barbed wire
missing.

Anybody know a bit about CenTx pottery that might give us a clue of age, people or even origin region ?

No coil construction visible. Pretty thick, 3/8 ths inch. Blackish material but it was withing a few feet of a small fire pit [ heat charring ? ]
