Today though has the SHORTEST hours of daylight. Come tomorrow morn, every day will add aproximatly
1.18 minutes to the available daylight for increased time digging, surfacing and shoveling snow

And Screening when you have your own table, tractor,

and....site!!!

I had discounted you Mike, I figured you didn't have any cares about daylight what with working in caves
with whale oil lanterns !

Actually Hal, the entrance area of the cave is all dug

out now, but there are 3 more chamber floors to work

that are about 16 to 20 inches thick, and yes, it will

take the ole whale oil lanterns to get that job done.

All of the screening is going on out in the field to

the west of the cave where we dumped several hundred

yards of midden material with a huge track loader back

in about 96.

Hal, I knew you were about to post on this topic as you do every year. It's a good reminder that the days begin to get longer. Hard to be pro-active after work when you get home in the dark! thanks for the friendly reminder.
