5" Ensor Knife Again

So what exactly makes it an Ensor blade?Was it found with lots of Ensors?

Ensor Blades nearly always have a square back.
I have dug lots of them. Just my opinion.

Dwain papered it as an Ensor knife and I figured that was good enough for me.
It was a surface find on the San Gabriel river, Found all by its lonesome self.

I hadn't really thought about it much but I would agree with you that most Ensor blades I have seen do tend to have a square base.

I thought your find looked familiar [ whatever it is ] I found one digging on the drainage just South of your river. . .

that's a nice one there SH. Looks to be the same size or just a bit bigger than the one I found.
I guess the December flint gods smiles down on we crazy flint hunters from time to time.LOL
