Cold weather, good luck

A nice Edwards, a heartbreaker Edwards, a micro perdiz, a Fresno, and a broke scallorn. The big tooth up top belongs to a black bear.

a broke split base Ensor, and a montell, also broke. Tell me what you think of that broke base on the top right...

Re: Cold weather, good luck

Strange that you bring up black bear teeth at this time. There's been a lot of talk down in this area about more black bear sightings in recent months. The last one killed was back in the mid 70's below Dilley, since then they've been non existant in south Texas. But within the last few months there's been numerous sightings. From Del Rio/Carrizo Springs area all the way up into the hill country. Still, that's something else to add to a frame of points.

Re: Cold weather, good luck

I'll definately be putting it in a case with some points, I found it and immediately thought bear. A google search confirmed my theory. Most people are supprised to hear that this was once bison, bear, seasonal elk, and pronghorn range, up until the near extinction of bison which caused a huge ecosystem change. The tooth I found isn't the main incisor, so I'm hoping I'll find it next with a hole drilled in the base lol
