Digs around Lake Travis

I am looking for a paydig near lake Travis, I know there is always Chrisners but I am looking for something within an hour of ****ewood, not too far from the lake. Any info including contact info for the owner of the site would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again- Travis

Re: Digs around Lake Travis

There are lots of campsites around Lake Travis, but unfortunately there are no paydigs. So, unless you do go to Christner's, the closest other is the Rio Bravo dig at Dripping Springs, if they are still operating (I think they shut down for hunting season each year). The site is approx. 8 miles South of Dripping Springs going towards Wimberley. They will probably be cranking back up again this spring.I have not gone there yet, so I do not have a number to call.
