What do you call this?

I found this today about a foot down. And yes I did hit it Any ideas on what it is? It is 4 1/2 long.

Re: What do you call this?

A big heartbreaker! Maybe Kinney or Darl blade ? Nice find Calvin.

Re: What do you call this?

Very neat unique find. could be a number of things::

Like a small crescent blade.

A regular blade used & resharpened on one side only.

A Corner tang that never got finished out.

A $400. treasure that is now worth $4.

Re: What do you call this?

I'd say Cresent Blade (transitional paleo).

Re: What do you call this?

I just did Restoration on this.

Re: What do you call this?

Excellent restoration. Really neat inclusions in the flint too.

Re: What do you call this?

Not bad at all Calvin, but do keep in mind that Dr.

Gomer & crew can make the break line disappear

completely! It's worth it to send it in to them

when it's a highly valuable item.

Re: What do you call this?

Thats a shame for sure. Sorry to hear about the big break. Still a great blade.
