Re: CAMP SITES

If your looking surface find look for broken rock and small old bone fragments. If your looking for old camps site (8 to 10,000 years)look in lower areas not on hill tops remember when the old indians were here there were animals that were hunting them also. There should be water within 1 mile of the site. Look on sandy spots that would be easy for them to dig in. If it's to gravely they weren't there as a rule. Main camps were usually on south faceing slopes with some kind of lookout point not to far away. If your just looking for points head to the sand close to creeks and rivers. It has worked for me in my 35 years of surface find hunting.
