flint hunting in austin

im a week to week arrowhead hunter from tuscaloosa al, i am coming to austin in june to visit a friend ihavent seen in20 yrs. found 3 points in cutt over on sipsey river,looking for tx flint

Whatever creek you choose to walk, there's always a chance Lunker was there just the day before you

BUT, , , he doesn't know that one of the best fossil hunting creeks is shoal creek right though the center of town. Around 15th street, big beautiful park.
Completely legal, the drainage might be crowded with
University types.
