Anyone Know of Artifact Finds in Rusk and Panola Counties

I have some land on the Rusk-Panola County line in Rusk County. The old Trammel's Trace road runs through there.
Has anyone found any artifacts in that area or know of any being found? I believe it was once Caddo Indian territory.
Would it be worth digging or better for surface hunting?

Re: Anyone Know of Artifact Finds in Rusk and Panola Counties

Hi, I would suggest talking to Steven Moore. He is a digger in the area and was an extremely nice person and knowlegable about Panola Co. Here is a link to his caddo pottery find below (page 2 of pointchatter)
Thanks, Jon.
