Just wondering if anyone out there knows if it is leagal to dig for arrowheads in albuquerue, new Mexico???

You can only dig on private property with the owners permission or you would have to own the land. You get caught digging on Gov land you go to jail. No digging graves on private or gov land or you go to jail.

Some good info to know def don't need to go to jail!! Thanks for ur help might be moving there soon just thought I would ask. Know of any kind of pay digs in that area?? Iknoe there is prob none lol.

Texas is about the only place for pay dig sites. I have done a lot of sand hill screening in Colo but on private ranch land. You can't find a place anymore its all off limits by the new owners.
