here were just some of the points on display today, it was a very cool show! I actually heard Dwain Rogers say he doesn't want to put out all of his c-tangs because there are too many at the show already! It was a blast wish I could have seen it tomorrow when the tables will be full. And last, sh since you're the resident point size estimator, how long do you think the monster basetang in the last pic is?

Re: Sneak peak temple show

wow! impressive points

Who's bird points?

It looks a lot like the collection of Bill German? Lots of beautifully colored flint! Thanks for sharing!

Re: Sneak peak temple show

This next pics to the right of the one above

Even with people in the foreground for scale....checkout the first pics and look at the size of the people farthest away.

I dont see any quarter for scale on the base tang and we're not supposed to make a serious judgement on points just from pics....

But just a wild guess for laughs, I would estimate roughly 16 1/16th inch

Re: Sneak peak temple show

To answer the bird point question, yes they were from the "German" collection.... Which was a highlight of the show. And haha sh that's right on, that point is easily the largest I've ever seen.

Re: Sneak peak temple show

I didn't actually measure the guy's flint Tuck, just took a pic with the description...

Notice where it was found all you people that dig the Leon !
