help ?

its mainly the material that has me curious i believe that the black and gold colored artifact is a nolan. i call it the spade the other 2 one looks bulverdeish the skinny ones base is ground. its small and i have no clue what it is. its that grey greasyish material too. is there a grey alabates.any help welcomed. the 2 grey ones were found 30 feet apart.PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Re: help ?

Not much help from here. Most Nolans I have seen really have well defined beveled bases almost as if that signature was more important than point sharpness...
No bevel no Nolan.
I like a well worked down Williams for the middle.

"greasy" flint has just always indicated the very best top quality material ( some might say by heat treating but that low a heat wouldn't alter the nature of the material )
